My husband has 3 invites that he can't give away - I don't think people are as into it as Yahoo thought they'd be...

I personally don't like the way Gmail works, specifically that their lifetime cookie links to searches of the content in all your emails. A little too Big Brother for me. This is why some people won't send email to people with Gmail addresses.

I agree with Jflynn, their service is all nice but I personally would not consider using their service.

Well, I certainly have no problems with using Gmail's large storage, so if anyone has more invititations that they want to give away, I will gladly accept one from you.

Thanks,
Matt Brandt

Excess gmail invitations can be donated to http://www.isnoop.net and they will be subsequently given away to people who request them. It's a nice little FREE service. They have given away over 100,000 since September. I dontate all the time.

Something else worth mentioning.

Gmail allows 20mb attachments and 1 gb storage for free.

The only way you can get an account is by invitation.

I strongly recommend using this for a spam address. What I mean is the one you market. It is almost unheard of today to find a combination of those 2 things free.

I have 9 invites left myself. I scored a gmail account about 10 months ago. So far it works good. The format is very unique because rather than showing a reply as a seperate email it attaches to the origional as a conversation.

I use gmail as my only email. The spam is blocked really well. I've yet to find and spam message in my inbox or a good email in the spam box. I'm really happy with it!

I have been using Gmail for just over a month now and like it. I have been running it in tandem with my account at onlymyemail.com - i.e. I have all my email accounts forwarded to both Gmail and my onlymyemail.com account.

Now, onlymyemail.com's claim to fame is that it has an excellent spam blocker but I have found that by creating just a handful of filters in addition to gmail's autmatic spam filtering - I have equal results with gmail - and it is free \:\)

The only problem I have is that I am already using over 20% of my 1 GB of space that Gmail gives you - and that is after only a month \:\(

Send another invite to yourself and create more. I was thinking about this and you could almost have say 5 gmail accounts and 5gb of free web space.

You could split files at 20mb and store all kinds of stuff.

A thought. I will not do it though. No need.
