When it comes to intro letters, be careful. Think about it...
"Hi, I'm a brand new dentist. I'm just starting out and I'm looking for new patients!"Would you go? I didn't think so. Me neither.
Plus, just because somebody is a friend doesn't mean they would trust you with the sale (or a purchase) of their house, right?
So, when you think direct mail - think
"benefits". You, I and everybody else gets tons of mail. And what do we all do with most of it? Yep, trash. So to make it really work, send useful, helpful and interesting stuff to people.
Make it about THEM. Make it about the market. Offer tips, advice, interesting facts, and helpful info. And the business will follow naturally.
