No offense Rick - the question you asked not only broke the rules (the rules you agreed not to break when permission was granted to you in order for you to join) - but recent previous threads gives the most explicit instructions on how to accomplish exactly what you are trying to do. I have been wondering id I shouldn't go back and edit that information wink

No kidding - don't worry about posting and asking for help - spend a week or 2 just reading the threads - their are nuggets or Easter eggs scattered all over the place - do you diligence here and you'll succeed.

Anything worth having is worth working for wink

Mrrick with the change over to BOA from CW I'm not sure how to even tell you where to look anymore to sign up. I'm sure it's there somewhere. But I suspect they aren't accepting new agents. When I signed up they were CW. I found them by some searching and not on this forum.

Let us consider this aspect, CountryWide was assigned the contract with the VA *after* it was known that BofA had acquired them. I think this is much ado about nothing. The VA is not likely to deal with a group of franchises, if you read the scathing report in support of terminating the contract with Ocwen you will understand what I am saying. The report is here on this forum. I know that I personally linked to it as did others. It's right here! As always when hearing rumors, consider the source. There is an awful lot of wishful thinking out there. We've seen that with TARP.

Wow - I hadn't considered that - perhaps no one should ask if they have heard the same rumors until it has been on the nightly news?

I gather that evidently you haven't heard anything about this and the other stuff is history - I was looking for new news wink

Heck CanDo - we all know you're right, but I don't see how you would equate the rumor to wishful thinking - no clue at all.

Why so snippy? I merely asked that you consider that the contract to Countrywide was awarded even though it was known at the time that BofA had acquired them (Countrywide). I merely asked that you consider the source of the VAs frustration with Ocwen and why they would not likely derail something that has got to be more successful than their contract with Ocwen. As to the TARP comment, we had posters here stating that the TARP funds and the AMCs were all set to be released, that failed to materialize didn't it? That was all based on rumors by "folks in the know". Turns out they didn't know.

You seem capable of rational thought, I merely asked you to consider your source. Sorry I upset your applecart. Your comments in this instance were beyond the pall, I meant no malice and don't deserve your comments.

One final thought, Countrywide/BofA has had the contract for all of six months, in a multi-year contract.

From what I was told today by a Bank of America REO rep, they are not accepting new applicants unless they are needed in an area. As a matter of fact, they are getting rid of the ones who are not up to par in our area.

Beware: I recently told Bank of America (LandAm) that I had switched offices. Of course I was told to provide all the required documentation. Today, I get an email stating that my information has been changed and that the new policy requires that I pick 15 zip codes from a list provided to me to service for bpo orders. I replied that I've easily services more than 15 zip codes before and I was told that this is the new policy with Bank of America and that they want to make sure agents are familiar with the areas. The policy with Countrywide is gone. So I just picked the 15 that I've gotten most of my orders from. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or did I bring this on myself because I requested to have my info changed. It's a good thing to have agents familiar with their areas but in the suburbs, theres more than 30 zip codes within 15 miles (which by the way is the radius their (BOA)using).

So I didn't get a check for about 3 weeks, I called, they say its in the mail, it finally arrives. I decided to do the ACH and I am glad I did, wished I would of done it sooner. They still give you an account of all the work you're being paid for and they also email it so you can either save it or print it out. For those of you who didnt do the ACH, I suggest you do, it's more efficient than getting and waiting for checks in the mail.

The irony of it all is that, if you have work you shouldn't have time to scour this forum for all the so called information hidden in the "Nuggets of Easter Eggs" I think they're referred to. C'mon I've spent hours upon hours on this site and have yet to find anything I could say Damn that was worth it. But hey, I'll keep hoping and snooping around.

Peace!

BPO orders have sure has slowed down this week at CW/BOA, anyone else feeling the pain? I think part of the reason is that they are outservicing their write downs to FISERV, I just got 8 orders from them with no pics to take, cutting cost for BOFA?

I too have seen a slow down towards the end of this past week, which is odd. But they all required photos. I hope they aren't outsourcing to someone else now, that would suck.
