I have done alot of BPOS for Lamco. At first they had me do BPOs, offer CFKs, coordinate trashouts and then they sent them to auction. Now they pay for the BPOs, have someone else handle the trashouts, etc. None turn into listings. All go to auction. Only if they do not sell at the auction do you have a chance to list them. Have not had a listing in about a year. Apparently they are successful with the auctions. I was told by Lamco that paying for being on their website would get you in front of lots of REO sellers, it was not designed just for them. I do alot of REO work and do not feel the need to pay another fee. Just my two cents.
By the way I have been lurking here for about 3 years and really want to thank everyone for all the useful information I have accumulated along the way, in particular who pays and who doesn't.
I hope to be able to contribute something useful every now and again.

I just did a BPO today for LAMCO...My first ime doing business with them. I am in CA, are they assigning assets here?

Not sure how it works in CA but I would guess the same as in Michigan. All their properties go to auction. If they don't sell since you did the BPO you will probably get the listing. I have done alot of BPOs no listings in about a year. They do pay well for the exterior BPOs though.

That horrible, I did the bpo in an hour since I believed they assign listings here.

I still do their BPOs but with no expectations.

I have done BPO's for them and a few months later they will email saying to stop all preservation that asset has been taken care of or something like that!? No listings either :(

I have done some BPO work for them. I think I may have had one listing a couple of years back, but mostly they kept giving me "preforeclosure assignments" on which they wanted a driveby BPO and then weekly occupancy checks. The last three of those just vaporized and never turned into listings. Too much wasted gas and time for my taste.

I got a re-assigned listing last October from them and I sold it and got paid.

I have done a few BPO's since then, one went to auction and sold and another they e-mailed me an order to have the grass cut and then canceled the order a few minutes later. The grass is 3 feet tall right now. I though about calling them to let them, or shooting them a picture.

I would not pay the money they are asking for this new service. Lamco has very few listings in Florida. Surely not enough to warrant those $$$.
