Many of you have requested to become a part of the AMS Broker/Agent Network to receive REO property listings. Asset Management Servicing is now accepting Broker/Agent applications, as our REO inventory is rapidly growing.
We’ll notify you once your application has been processed.
Best Regards,
Tom Oldefendt CEO and President Asset Management Servicing LLC "AMS" 4000 MacArthur Blvd. Sixth Floor Newport Beach, CA 92660 There are so many "AMS" companies out there that I included the solicitation email above (minus the link) to avoid confusion--another thread on this topic seems to get the various AMS's intermingled. I'm getting at least one or two emails a week from these guys. I filled out the application and then stopped at the screen which asked for the money. That, in itself, sets off alarms for me. If they really needed a listing agent in my area, they would simply phone. I was wondering if anyone has paid them and then had that investment pay off.

I did exactly the same. As soon as I got to the pay page that was the end of my application. I too get a couple of emails each week with joining information.

I did 2 weeks ago, just to roll the dice. No contact yet. I followed the instructions to a tee and my registration status still shows pending. I figured it was worth a try... I will update if I hear anything

Googling his name did not tell me that HUD is his only client, though that would certainly be important information. How did you determine that, Alan?
His LinkedIn profile does give the following info: Tom Oldefendt’s Education Owatonna HS HS, general, 1969 — 1970

I haven't paid the fee yet, but I do have a listing with them through Dispo. Once it closes I will pay the fee for chance for more listings.
As I put in the other thread regarding this company. They are responsive to offers, even on weekends. I submitted an offer on Saturday and got a counteroffer that evening. They signed all the state contracts and had them back to me within 24 hours. They do outsource the title and escrow through a "local" title place that then places the title & escrow with a title company in my area. My opinion so far is very good. I'll post back after it closes to let everyone know if I run into any glitches there.

I'm a little worried, I made the jump, and haven't heard anything since about my registration. When I emailed the address that emailed me telling me that my application was received, it came back as a permanent error.
Well, my $200 is gone, so I'll hope that I hear something soon.
