FireFox - after a while using Firefox I could never go back to Explorer. I use the add-ons and it is faster and less problematic than Explorer. When I have to view a site in IE because it is not designed to be viewed in other browsers - it is like I can put my head down on my desk and have a nap while I am waiting for it to load

Like Doug, I'm mad about mozilla. There are fantastic add-ons that have really sped up my day. Plus, the ability to have multiple sites up in tabs across the top is pretty handy.
Rarely, I too have to open a site in IE. ew!
You can get the Google PR add-on and the Google toolbar add on which offers a drop down field to search on Yahoo, Amazon and is customizable. Plus, there's an add on that allows you to visit subscription sites such as New York Times, etc called 'bug me not' - activate that and it uses a 'dummy' login so you don't have to register and get spammed. Very nice!

I'm with Doug. Firefox is good, but the extensions are what make it really fantastic. I keep IE around just to make sure my site looks OK with it. The big majority of my visitors are still on IE, but I'm seeing more FF every day.

I am using Mzosilla Firefox. Not only it is faster that IE, you could also browse safely. I only use IE sometimes when I can't open a website on Firefox. Since I use Firefox, my homepage was never ever hijacked! Yahoo! Google!

Just out of the 13 or so surveyed here, hardly a statistically significant sampling. Checking my web stats for April I see that out of 7,433 unique visitors 85.7% used some version of IE explorer, 5.4% used Netscape, and 3.8% were using Firefox. On a mildly brighter note for Firefox fans it's usage on my site is up about 1% since January of this year.

Firefox from here on!!! From a usability standpoint, it blows IE out of the water. Plus the extensions are awesome.
This coming from a long time MS advocate. A long time microsoft-only developer...
Now to get certain webmasters/developers to stop doing browser type testing on their home pages.

I use FireFox and just have IE for those few pages that won't work in FireFox! I'll never go back to IE ever again!!! I only use the Weather add on for FireFox.
The toolbars that were talked about above, most toolbars like that are spyware, that provide backdoors into your computer for hackers. The FireFox one might be safe, but I don't risk it.

As mentioned above, I have been using Firefox for quite a while now and something happened recently that virtually guarantees that I will never go back to Explorer. I bought a new Dell notebook computer - the type that has a wider screen.
The idea behind the wider screen is that you can put two documents side-by-side which is useful at times. The screen resolution - as it is set when at the factory - displays pages in Firefox perfectly but all graphics in Explorer are blurry to the point where you would be embarrassed to show anyone a web page on your computer. I guess Explorer resizes the graphics to fit the screen resolution and that makes them blurry.
I assume this is probably the case for any wide sceen computer if you are actually using a screen resolution that allows you to view pages side by side - and find it amazing that Explorer does not work on such computer systems.

I use Opera and keep IE around for those sites that insists on IE only. I used Firefox in the past and from the input about Firefox I'm seeing here, I will try out the latest version.

Mozilla Firefox. It's a very good browser. I would reccommend it to everyone.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
