We're on the final leg of looking at Contact and Transaction Management Tools.

Just rules eAgent today as I can't see us using sych antiquated technology, especially if we can't be guaranteed a ultrafast broadband connection everywhere.

So TopProducer is floating to the top. I really like the functionality it offers especially TP 7 with a web interface.

But I've seen a "love - hate" relationship for it.
Many negative comments about TP but no solid reasons why.

If you like TP or hate it due to experience, I'd like some real world input. Please include the version that you used, any addons (Remote?) and other tools you compare it to.

I'd really like to hear what people who've used it have to say. "I love it" doesn't help... Why do you love it? Better than what?

Any feedback anybody...

Cheers,
Brett

Thank you for the links. But I already have them. And I have a general idea as to who the people in are, what their technical abilities are...

I'd prefer to get input in a forum that isn't targeted at those products. Who knows if the vendors are lurking or have set up those groups themselves.

Neutral ground is the best place for honest impartial feedback.

Anybody using those products? I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about them.

There are some vendors of AgentOffice on there by request (ours) as well as some trainers. We find them to be helpful with problems and suggestions, In exchange we give them input and feedback on their product.

I love it. I personally have never understood the negative opinions, either, especially the ones coming from agents who haven't personally tried the 7i.

I use it exclusively and cannot imagine life without it! I love being able to access it at home, at work, at a client's home, wherever, whenever I want.

The letters are great, the plans are great (everything takes some personal tweaking, of course) and my absolute favorite is the customer website. That is extremely popular with my clients, let me tell you!!

At night, I enter everything into my listings, closings or contact notes and then I can "forget" it. It is recorded for all eternity.

For those who are worried that you don't have a hard copy, there is now TP Remote, and that allows you to make a hard copy and take with you to use when you won't/don't have Internet access.

Customer service is great, friendly, always willing to help. In 2 years, haven't had a single price increase, my clients have never received any spam mail from TP.

I can't think of a single negative aspect!!

We've met with the sales people, spoken with the frontline salespeople and techies. Asked about contract obligations and weren't told we would be locked into any year long financial commitment.

What version are you using? or not using in your case... I've found a wealth of difference in experiences between v6 and v7i. People on 6 are having all sorts of headaches, as would expect on a client/server windows program that composes v6.

But web enables applications such as v7i tend to be less buggy...

Anyone?

Cherir,
This is the feeling I'm getting about v7i. And why I wouldn't touch v6 if they gave it to me for free. Very similar to the technology used in OnlineAgent (eAgent). Old, very old and creaky.

Your use for it is exactly what I need it for. A couple of people in my office are a little impatient with technology and get scatterbrained when they have to use paper... V7i seems to keep all oftheir work in one place and seems to be the way i'm going.

Next is to meet with my web developers and see how I can tie TP and Settlement Room into my website.

It didnt work. i now caved into TP7i, and for just $35 a month nothing can touch it.

I am interested in TP. Sounds like TP7i is the best, and $35 month is a good price. Does it have drip email campaigns and email templates specifically for different types of potential clients? I don't know anything about it, so I guess I'll need to do some research.

I've been talking to some assistants and they love TopProducer 7i. There is no long term commitment and it works very well for marketing, contact management, and other ares of your business. I haven't used it, so will see.
