Install an email client application on your Blackberry (if there isn't one already installed). Then set it up to IMAP (retrieve messages but leave them on the server) to your existing email account. You'll need your email server names, username, and password when setting it up. Your network administrator or email provider can give you this information.
It's also possible that your email provider has web-based email, in which case, all you'll need to get to it is a web browser.
Obviously this advice is vague, because it all depends on what software you install. Whatever you do install will probably have a guided ("wizard") setup, or a text file with instructions on how to do it.
I hope this helps at least a little.

I have the Blackberry and the Treo 650. Basically, the Blackberry is great because you get emails within 3 minutes or so. For the Treo, you can buy PalmOS email programs that automatically check your regular email, but it's slower than the Blackberry and I think it uses up your battery life.
Other options would be to 1) have your standard email address forward all emails to the email address provided by the mobile phone company or 2) use your the email address provided by the mobile phone company.
For instance, "yourphonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com" would be your Sprint email address. You can check this email online through Sprint's site as well. I initally had my email set up to automatically forward all incoming messages to my sprint email. I believe the email/paging capabilities often cost a little more per month.
Bottom line..I love the Blackberry and recommend it for email. I pay for unlimited data capabilities and it works great. Hope this all makes sense.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
