Plaxo is pretty handy and free, it will sync contacts, tasks, calendar, and notes with your Outlook and for free. Can be really handy!
www.plaxo.com I used Plaxo up until just recently, and here is the only reason I switched. A few months ago, my office bought into and is using
www.intranets.com and everyone in the office has an account. When I first looked it over I just kind of put it on the backburner, it seemed cool, it has the offices calendar of things going on, etc, but I was already using Plaxo and didn't figure I needed it.
Well, the other day I dug a little deeper, and it will allow you to save documents online, I can add things to the calendar and no one else can see my "personally added" items, and it makes it where I don't have to try and update my personal calendar manually with things going on around the office, and it also has contact management, a task feature that will email you your daily tasks at the start of the day that you have planned, and this all syncs with your Outlook. Since it has more functionality than Plaxo, and has all the calendar entries from our office manager on the things (classes, events, meetings) going on in the office it just made sense. It isn't free, but if your office is looking for something, it might be worth a look.
www.intranets.com The cool part about the file saving is that you can create a connection/folder on your computer, let's say your desktop, and just double-click into it like a normal folder, drop some files in it and then when you go to the office they will be right there on that desktop, pretty handy and even easier than having to carry around an USB key.
