Anyone interested in/know about resources covering real estate XML schemmas or DTD's?

All of my searches on the topic turn up old articles and I can't get an idea of where the industry stands with this.

Anyone have a clue?

That is a good question. Several years ago it was all the rage - was going to transform the industry. XML search engines were going to replace the major search engines of the day etc.

I have not heard diddly for many years now. As far as Realtor websites are concerned it is probably no longer an issue.

Is this because the NAR or MLS's refuse to adopt it or what?

I would think that if XML could be put to good used in any industry it would be real estate.

I don't know what the reasons are but I do agree that it is tailor-made for real estate.

I would like to design sites with xml for the new PDA's that work with the mls I even got the domain HANDHELDBROKER.COM but I gave up due to the lack of interest. Maybe I can do it later I dunno

I liked the idea but I don't think that most people understand
