Has anyone ever rented a booth at somewhere like the fair for your RE business? I am thinking about doing this and doing like CMAs under a banner saying, "What Is Your Home Worth" I am hoping for contacts. I would also have some literature laying around like the new tax credit, etc. Any input?

Sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure that a fair sounds like the best place to do it, but I don't know what a fair is like in your neck of the woods.

Here in central Il we have an annual home & garden show that would be great for your idea. Do you have anything like that in your area?

Our fair has a very large building where there are all types of vendors set up to do this. And yes, we do have an annual home and garden show. Too bad it is this weekend!!

Hey REGuy, again I'm no expert on your market but locally what packs them in is a sign that says you have a free list of forclosures or bank owned property. Everyone is looking for a deal.

Our brokerage rented a table at a street fair a few summers ago. It was right outside our office. We set up a few computers and a printer and offered Tax Record printouts. If they wanted more info we had agents available to give a more accurate assessment.

I offered to send out free REO Lists, etc. It went pretty well. I was able to snag 3 listings and 2 buyers with 6 hours of working the table over 2 days.
