Hello, I'm living in PA and will be placing my home up for sale. This is a very historic area and many of the homes in the area pre-date the 19th and some even the 18th century. This past summer, my fiance and I found out that the home in which we live and wish to sell is actually 115 years old while the deed clearly states that it was built in the 1950s!! This puzzlement peaked our interest, and after tracking back through old deeds and spending many hours in the local historical offices in this area, we found out that the house had been moved a few hundred feet from it's original foundation in the 1950s, and that it was indeed built in 1889. Question: should we reveal the historical aspect of this house or keep the "secret" of the deed and sell it as the current deed indicates. Any advice appreciated, thank you in advance!
