I am a new agent and I have been set out to learn everything on my own. Could someone please answer a question for me. I submit an offer for a client the other day and she asked me to offer closing costs for her. I told her it was a bad idea because it was priced low already. She asked me, well if someone bids higher than me, will they tell us. i said yes. But now the agent is not answering my calls or emails and I am wondering if I was wrong in telling her that we could counter any offer. Is the agent obligated to tell me if there has been a higher bid or are we out of luck for not bidding high enough inthe first place?
