First of all our home has been on the market for approximately 3 weeks. We are extremely dissatisfied with our agent to say the least. He has been rude, refused to show us homes that we have wanted to look at and blew a deal that we had on our home within 6 days of its being listed. We have decided we would like to wait to sell our home. Can we get out of our contract? If so, how long must we wait to list again? I live in Tennessee. (Hope that helps)

Call the agent's broker as the broker is ultimately responsible for all of the office agents. Be honest and tell the broker your experience with this agent and explain why you would like to take your home off the market. (you did not give a reason for this in your post) You could let the broker know that when you decide to relist, you will list with this broker but would like to work with a different agent.
The broker can mutually agree to cancel the listing contract.
