Anyone had this problem?--

I've used our County website GIS mapping without any problems for years.

Suddenly the viewer will not open all the way--it starts to load then the "processing request" bar just runs forever without the map opening all the way.

It might have happened after a dreaded Google or Windows automatic update, or maybe my defective Sentrilock card reader might have blown something out of whack?

Trying every avenue I can imagine--no pop-ups are blocked, I've re-installed many of my original PC discs, uninstalled then re-installed everything else I can think of, such as ActiveX type stuff.

County IT guy was no help.

Have tried to download/install ARCexplorer and ARCreader but they will not install at ESRI after 3 hours of trying.

Help! Anyone encountered this kind of problem? Thanks!

Using IE, it's what the County IT guys says to use.
