Forgive me if this topic has been covered previously. I tried to locate earlier discussions without success.

I use Internet Explorer to input data for BPO reports. With one particular company (IREP) each photo needs to be uploaded one at a time. With each photo, IE pops up with a "Security Information" "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?"

I would dearly love to disable this popup for trusted sites. I googled this, and found instruction on how to disable; however, I still get the same darned message.

If anyone knows how to make this popup go away, or maybe I should try Firefox?

That one thing probably makes BPO input on IREP's site take maybe a half hour longer than it otherwise would, and it's making me nuts.

TIA

I guess I answered my own question. Firefox worked much better for me in the particular situation outlined above. Posting here in case someone else can benefit from my experience.

Internet exploder is a joke, definitely use firefox. IE will leave you open to all kinds of viruses and crap. Very insecure.
