Can anyone tell me how buying commercial property works?
I have an investor who would like to invest into commercial property.
I've done many leasing transactions but never done a buying or selling transactions before.

i just want to know what are some basic steps that ususally occur when you are in a buying transaction.

1.Deciding on assett class to purchase

2.Learning what financing the buyer qualifies for with type of assett purchase.

3.Finding a couple properties that meets the investors criteria for what they can get approved for (realistically).

4.Put an offer in with a "letter of intent"

5.Go into contract and do your due diligence on the property.

It is way,way more involved than that but those are the basics.

I don't mind doing all the work, but i just need someone to sort of guide me along the way since this is my very first deal. of course there will be commision split.
