I always seem to end up working with these transactions where the reason the sellers are selling is not a good one. Like they are not looking to move into a bigger or smaller house or be closer to their work or something simple like that. Every transaction I have worked on or had something to do with so far, the reason the house was being sold was for a sad/bad reason. So depressing sometimes. Today for example I held an open house with one of my team members and I asked her why they were selling the house (it is her neighbor) and she tells me that this man and his daughter and wife were on their way home from a christening and to make a long story short the wife was in the backseat they got hit from behind trying to avoid another accident the car exploded and his wife was trapped and killed. This all happened a month before her first grandchild was born no less. His children are all grown and she was an interior decorator and besides him having no need for such a large house anymore the whole place reminds him of her as she decorated it all to her liking. I have so many stories like this. Its awful. Im just hoping I get to work on a "happy" deal sometime.

I recently had a buyer that put out $500,000 for a 2000 square foot house here in Las Vegas. He sold his old house to move to better weather for his illness. Now that he's here, he can't get up the stairs so he has to sell it. his story just goes from sad to happy to sad again.... I've realized no one sells a home for fun.

Think positive...while someone is selling for personal issue but someone is going to make that place their home sweet home...Life moves on.

Thats not true. LoL I have been told stories about people who are selling their homes because they are simply bored with the one they have.
