As a broker, can I license multiple real estate offices under different names with different llc's? Would I need 2 different licenses with the state I am working in?

In New York the company name is on the license so you would need a license for each name used.
Not sure where in the US you are but check with your state's licensing office.

Definitely state specific. For example, here you can but the companies have to have the same physical address. Call your local real estate commission.

The short answer is NO unless you plan on paying both for services rendered. Typically, the seller pays both listing and buyer's agents out of the proceeds from the sale. So unless you're buying two houses, one from each agent, don't waste the agents time if you're not buying from that agent. Put yourself in that straight-commission agent's place; would you work for free? I didn't think so.
