Hello everyone!! Ive been learking for about a month and I have read tons of threads. It seems as though most people on here are from other parts of the america lol. I wanted to know if there is anybody out there from nyc that can give me some tips on how to survive as a newbie and what to expect in my first year starting out here. I know door to door knocking is not something that most people do out here, and I will be in working in Manhattan, so I would assume it would be point less to drive to work everyday (because of traffic, expensive parking, etc.) I just know its a little different......... Please help :-) thanks!

You really need to spend some time interviewing Brokers. Your focus, at this stage, must be on training. There are countless people who do our job and do it poorly. Cream rises to the top and that is your objective. Doesn't really matter where you live, this is true anywhere. Best of luck.
