Did anyone get a call from them today?

My team mate said he got a call from them, and I just got one right after he told me.

Something like a national refferal company, 20% refferal at closing (No up front fees).

Any expirance with them?

I got a call two weeks ago letting me know that I was among the 'top four' agents is the Dallas area selected for participation in this great lead generating offer. I did a little research and discovered they charge about $3900 in 'setup' charges. I believe you have to pay for web templates. They'll ask for a conference call of about 45 minutes or so... and apparently not till about half an hour into it do they start talking about fees.

The good news is I sent them a polite email letting them know I was not interested and they have not called or emailed me since.

I have not heard of it. There are so many ridiculous places promising you this and that I don't know if I would trust any of them. You would probably be better off getting your own website built and hitting the streets...sorry i can't offer any more insight on them.

The bottom line with all of this is I UNDERSTAND both sides of the deal. We as brokers say give us a lead and if it closes we will pay you your fee " sounds fair enough right? "

The problem from our side is they want upfront money which we don't want to spend. The problem from there side is many agents that sign up for these leads are NEW and INEXPERIENCED. So even if the lead generators gave them a GREAT lead the odds of the broker/agent being able to close it are small. This is why the lead companies have to generate revenue upfront to pay the employees to or they go out of business.

We could say they could make sure the leads are handed off to qualified brokers with many years of experience so the chance of closing is higher but odds are top producers are so busy they don't want refferal leads and are already reffering off stuff of there own.

So the short of it is lead companies will still do what they do and we will all still complain about it.The best answer is for the broker to develop there own leads cheaper and faster.

super realtor, you make some great points.

I will say this, though.

When I get a phone call telling me that "I'm one of the lucky four agents in ALL of Dallas that was selected to be interviewed for this program," I know that I'm being lied to from the get-go.

And I don't much care for lying as a way to generate business.

As far as I'm concerned this company has zero credibility.

I DID JOIN .... PAID THE $3,490 AND REGRET IT TODAY!

That was a few months ago. NO LEADS YET!
See more info at www.REExpert.us

Just got a phone call from Tara Dikos yesterday. She said she quit the company last Tuesday and would not elaborate further ...for now, but may later. When I visited the company in Denver a few weeks ago she was known as the person who had been there the longest, was an Investor in the company and a Corporate big-wig so to speak.

I am TOTALLY amazed and flabbergasted, but not surprised. She was SO FIRED UP about this company and its future that she actually convinced me to stick with it. But after the weeks went by I again lost faith..., with nothing good being seen.

Anyone who wishes to join a Class Action Law Suit to regain the money that they paid out, please feel free to join my list... which I am NOT going to publish for now nor make public or share with anyone except my Lawyers. Eventually this list may need to be made public if the lawyers request it.

I have several signed up so far. There also may be treble damages.
Many of us stuck it out and tried, but its time to cut our losses and fight for our rights. For those who never joined and say "I told you so" ....yep, you were right this time. Sometimes these marketing deals work out and sometimes they do not. I am a risk taker, but becoming more cautious.

Super realtor

you make some good points.

I looked at creating a lead refferal service one time (i'm still somewhat intrested) but I was just going to do the average 25% referal? I done it some on a small scale in just a couple markets. The hardest thing was finding good agents willing to take the leads!!!

Every agent I called assumed I was trying to sell them something smile

I just got a call from them about 5 minutes ago. When I asked who it was, I said 'I heard bad things about you from several realtor message boards and blogs and I am not interested.'

This is one of the oldest Realtor scams. Asking money upfront to join a refferal service is the first sign of trouble. I joined one 5 years ago based on the east coast headed by a Realtor out there. Can't remember the name of it, but I eventually filed with the BBB and nothing happened because he told the BBB I did not follow up on the leads he sent me. He never sent any leads to me and I'm sure scammed many Realtors into buying his zip codes.

They called me too, and at the very end of their hour-long conference call mentioned the fees. Ughhh waste of my time AND my cell phone minutes! I'm just glad I didn't sign up...

When a sales person calls me on my cell phone they get cut off right away.

Homes.com called me twice yesterday. I cut them right off mid-sentence and say "NOT INTERESTED" and hang up. Wastes only 1 cell phone minute that way. LOL
