Hi, new to the board. Heading into my second year as a realtor and loving it.

I've very quickly built a rep in my town with my property descriptions - phrases such as, "Finds like this are as rare as [censored] on a bull", "...yard has plenty of room for the kids to play and the dog to pee", and "If this home were a celebrity, it would be Joan Rivers! Been around for a while, had a couple of facelifts over the years and boasts a large back....yard". I've had great success selling these funny description homes, and have had buyers work with me just because they liked my sense of humor - not because I had any listings they were interested in.

Anyone else here getting "creative" with descriptions?

I like the Joan Rivers one. I don't know if I'd do the more crude ones but hey, if it works, it works! Congrats!

Ha! Funny stuff, but it wouldn't fly here.

If I had the right seller, it would work. Most sellers though are a bit more stuffy and don't like jokes at their home's expense! LOL
