Holy Cow...new standards at IAS are crazy!! I've had 8 out of my last 10 BPO's returned to me for stupid stuff...not crossing a main road for comps, not crossing a highway, all comps must be from within the same subdivision, QC mapped comp properties and CL2 is 8 miles away - the porblem is they mapped out the wrong street and zip code for CL2 - The actual address was 4028 Falcon Ridge Dr. and they mapped 4028 Falcon Way clear across town - "why would subject sell for more than cs2 when cs2 was on the market for 161 days" ....well, if you look at my bpo and adjusments you will see that the comp is in average condition and the subject is in good condition and adjustments were made to reflect the difference in condition - this is getting ridiculous - I'm just starting to get listings from them and now they have made already difficult, low paying bpo's even more time consuming and headache causing!!! Is anyone receiving listings without taking the bpo's? I'm starting to debate whether this is worth it

FYI Mitch I was referring to the EMC forms on REOTrans being cake- the IAS forms take some getting used to. I have noticed stricter criteria lately about proximity to subject, and when I asked my VM what was up she acted like it has always been that way. wierd.

All I can say is I'm happy with my current Valuation Manager. Don't have any QC issues and they are no different than my previous bpos. The previous valuation manager nearly made me grow a tumor in my brain with all the headaches she gave me.

I have been signed up for about eight months and seen nothing. I email my contact every month or so with no response. I even sent him a gift card around the holidays and nothing...

Sounds like a common theme

I got QC on questions that are not on the form. Like what was the last sale of any model in the complex? How many units in the complex? Why are your comps not all from the complex. There must be other units for sale in the complex. (sorry if I could find a comp in the complex I would use it)
So after this time wasting QC, I get a listing in a good area on a condo I have never done a BPO on.
Go figure.

I don't understand why companies list with another agent after an agent has already had experience with a particular property. It makes no sense to me.

I only got 2 orders in 2007. Then in January I got an order that I had quite a debate (translation: argument) with them over. That must have done the trick, because now the orders are coming about every week! I was sure they were going to dump me, and now they want to hang out all the time...

I've been signed up with IAS for almost two years. I have closed 1 listing with them. Other than that 1 sale, they send me BPOs. I decline most of them since their BPOs fees are low and they assign listings to the same agents.

THEY GIVE ALL THERE REO'S TO THE SAME AGENT(S) ...DON'T KNOW WHY I DO TONS OF BPO'S FOR THEM ...I GOING WITH THE THOUGHT THAT IF THEY JUST GIVE ME ONE ..THERE WIL BE MORE TO COME WITH THEM ...IT'S BEEN WELL OVER A YEAR WITH THEM WITHOUT AN REO....

I had to change my value for them today because the 90-120 day list price was on the high side of the sold comparables instead of the middle. It was this way because all of the list comparables were higher than the sold. I don't want to take any more of their orders if they get sent back to me for stupid stuff.

I signed up with them in Jan 07, just started receiving orders from them last month. I must say their QC is kinda crazy for the low pay. On Friday I spent a couple of hours trying to complete and order asking for crazy things.I know they promise a listing, but I don't hold my breath on it.

Has anyone had success with them in asking for more money?

It seems like they keep adding stuff to their forms every time you do a new order. The fee stinks big time but they are my homies on both sides so I guess it's ok.

They are not adding stuff, they just have few different forms, like FARVV or LA. So it's all depends on the client.

i have done 10 bpos and got 1 listing. 1.75% for my side of it, but it is a 380k house, so not too bad. The bpo person told me that if you negotiate a higher fee for them, they will not send you the listing later on. I like their forms though...
