I must have missed something when registering for company, but they sent me a BPO assignment and it says they don't pay for BPOs but just give you the possibility for future REO assignments for doing the BPO.

Have you ever heard of this? It sounds very misleading to me but if somone else got an REO by doing a free BPO for them then I'd consider, but I'm probably just going to tell them to take a hike.

I think it says on their website or form that there is a 15:1 odds of you getting a listing.

Here's my experience:

15 Bpos got one listing. Had to sign up with Res.net for the listing however got a few banks calling me now.

If I were you I would just email whoever sent you the order and ask them for a listing. I bugged a couple of my assignors for a while. One said if you do the work correct and turn it in on time you get listings.
Another assignor said that I'm in good standing, she would make a note that I'm interested in a listing.

Just keep up with how many you do for them. I told my self that if I did so many (15 per their site) and still didn't get a listing then I would mark them on my crappy list.

So far I like them. You complete the bpo you have a shot at either that property or a future property. The forms are fairly easy and I usually just stay close to my home/offce zip so as not to waste gas.

Illinois Agent, That's awesome rockon that you were able to get an REO without doing the BPO. Perhaps you can share your secret success of how that happend? whistle

A month is not long at all--you need to be more patient than that. If you start complaining/asking for a listing after a month, you will look like a whiner. It took me about 8 months before I started to get listings from the people on that site. It takes a while, but it is worth it.

Northtxbroker is right, a month is not long at all. I started with URES back in May. It's taken me 5 months to actually get a listing from them. Patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait.

Also keep in mind that some places differ in foreclosure count. I'm from a small town so orders are few, where you are may or may not be the same...

Also maybe "bug" was too strong of a word. Here's exactly what I said:

"Hi Ashly,

Hope you are doing well. I'm currently in the process of completing the BPO
that you requested. I just wanted to take time out for a little bit and
email you and ask you when I might be seeing a listing. I believe this is
my 9th or 10th Free BPO that I have done for your company. I'm not sure what
my "score" is or how many more freebies I need to do in order to get a
listing. Just kind of curious.

Have a great weekend!"

okay so I might have begged a little but it worked... I sent her that in August and got a listing at the end of Sept. Course that was exactly right after I did the 15th one as well...

Bugging the order assigners probably wont get you a thing. Usres has about 350 employees, so the bpo assigners probably dont even talk to the reo assigners.

I just got three orders in one day from usres which i don't mind if it will pay off. So far I have done 9 but if the orders keep coming in at 3 to 4 a day I will be at 20 by the weeks end. Seems like they deal with a lot of banks. Should I start asking for a listing since so they are requesting so many orders?

I think it's all about location location location. All of my "new" work seems to come based on where I am.

Got an email from them this evening:

***USRES Agent Message***

To all USRES Agents,

In an effort to streamline our agent assignment process, we are asking that all USRES agents remove any zip codes that they no longer service from there profile. This will make our process more efficient as well as assuring that agents get the opportunity to work on properties that fall within their coverage areas. Please follow the below steps:

1. Go to: www.usres.com

2. Log-in to the site

3. Go to the Service Area Section

4. Clear out any zip code field that you are unable to cover and replace it with the letter D

5. Select “Submit Changed Zips Above”

Also, while you are in this section of the site; take the opportunity to add any zip codes that you can cover that are not already listed.

If you have any questions please send an e-mail to vendor.management@usres.com.

Your cooperation in this effort is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

USRES Customer Support Team

Funny, I have'nt received any BPO's or REO's from them, good to know I am at least considered.

You might want to check it out. I found two zip codes on my list that are in another state.

Same here - I never received a log in from them so it is kind of hard to do - but what the heck - I'll followup.
