I thought I would share a pic of my new REO which is a genuine historic colonial and was built in 1739. The whole neighborhood has houses that are similar. It does need some work but many of the original features are still intact. If I mention George washington was 7 years old when it was built, it kind of puts things more into perspective. I wonder if there are any ghosts living in it? http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/nn67/dweezildorf/

I grew up north of Boston and used to laugh when I lived in South Florida and the "historic district" was houses built in the 1920's.

What do you think its worth? Do you have more pics? My oldest bpo was in the 1870's, and my oldest listing was 1910. Nothing compared to that.

awsome. where is it located? It's in upstate NY near Woodstock in a small, rural town. What do you think its worth? Do you have more pics? My oldest bpo was in the 1870's, and my oldest listing was 1910. Nothing compared to that. It sold for $250k ten years ago. Its assessed in the low 400's so maybe since it needs work and with financial mess and all, somewhere in between. http://s301.photobucket.com/albums/nn67/dweezildorf/Check the link for more pics.
