I got a call from PCV today asking if I would do 2 BPO's in my area, no strings attached, no competing with other agents, just straight assignments, he even asked me to do a BPO in another county. BPO gods were looking out for me today.

Same here, they seem to call me when they want an order done and they are never out of my way. I haven't had to compete for any of their orders yet and have only been doing BPO's for them for about a month. Took forever to get approved though.

Do they give listings or is it just a mill?

Just a mill. Once you get used to their form it's great. They have canned comments that you pick what more or less fits. No tons of typing comp comments.

Their dropdown canned comments give me a headache. Many of them seem redundant to others in the list. Some of them make no sense, such as is the value of the property influenced by a view? The answer to this may be yes, but none of their supplied answers may fit the situation. I'd rather make my own comments.

... and you do have the option to provide your own comments as I have done on several BPO's because their canned comments were half of one and half of another.

I waited about 6 months before I got the application sent to me. I drug my feet about turning it in because they are just another mill and my brokerage was in the midst of an acquisition that was going the change the company name, so I decide to wait for the name change to take effect. Finally turned it in and about 6 weeks after than I started getting orders from them.

PCV is near the bottom of my list of favorite companies. I hate forms that pause and load new fields after you input info. Very annoying.
Their pay is below average, their volume is low, their employees seem confused and unprofessional.
And their photo requirements for an order are buried in the instructions. Too many of their orders require both directions of the street, both sides, view, front and address.
They're not a bad company, just not well run.

I'm in agreement. Their website drives me crazy. I don't do many for them but the few times I have, I've said never again. I don't have time to sit for hours uploading stuff. The pauses, crashes etc are very inconvenient. Too bad, they are so nice...
