I think if you are new and trying to break into the business it is not worth it.

If you have an REO business already then it is invaluable - even just talking to the brokers in between breaks. It is nice to see what works for other people and throw ideas off of each other.

I'm in Hollywood, FL already! Lots of humidity, rain, but a beatiful beach next to the hotel. Who's coming let's get together?

I was going to go until I found out it cost 850 bucks at a time when I am really struggling. I believe it would be a very good thing but between airfare, hotel, car rental, it would be a $1500 boondogle. I can not justify that at this time. I would love to hear from those of you who do get to go if you thought it was worth it.

I have asked about this conference on other threads but not never got a good answer. Is the point of attending for most of you mainly to get asset manager contacts to go back home and solicit when the conference is over?

The question I have asked on other threads is why not just buy all of these asset asset managers' contact info and save on the conference fee and travel expenses? If there is another reason for attending that is truly beneficial I would like to know because I would consider attending.

Because wouldnt you get way more contact info by buying it than just hoping to run into these people at the conference? Its not like they will remember you over another agent anyway just from the conference....right?

So it's raining Recovering?? My plane leaves DC tomorrow, will be there by the afternoon. I've also got another agents info so we are meeting tomorrow night. Anybody else, PM me or Recovering.

We'll be leaving early tomorrow morning and be over there about 11:30. It's not raining right now on the west coast of Florida.

This is not about buying your contact list...is about meeting and networking with the REO industry's professionals. Think about if you are a lawyer you will have your own Bar association get together.

On my flight in with one of the Membership's gurus told me that is about 1,500 people expected to be there plus the late registers that may show up.

Those that can't afford it, don't worry there is anoter coming next year in the Spring in Sunny Palm Springs, CA.

Typically the Hollywood conference is smaller than the Indian Wells one, which is the only reason I make the trip. I hate that part of Florida, no redeeming value.
