Note to self: Get old, take out ridiculous loans that I can't repay, shoot self in timely manner, go to Disney World.
***Sorry, I am feeling REALLY cynical about paying for other people's crap today.***

I don't know why this chick had to, or chose to, take out 4 loans in less than 10 years. But if she had the credit & the ability to repay, and a lender denied her, she woulda had a case for age descrimination, and possibly other things.
What I really don't understand is how a mortgage can be forgiven after the entire f/c process is completely over. I mean OVER. Confirmation of sale is done & filed. Eviction filed & 30 days was up. The cops were litterally (despite what the article says, I checked the court records) getting ready to toss her. Those 30 days were up, she was getting the boot.

What's a 90-year-old doing with a mortgage anyway?
