Most of them are independently owned franchises, and as such, some will be terrific, some will be okay, some will be tolerable, and some will be horrific.

Personally I probably would not want to work for another Weichert office - unless I could find one JUST LIKE the one I work for now. LOL

best bet is to check it out in person, ask the broker questions, then check out some others before you decide. if you have any friends in the business I'd ask them for advice.

I interviewed with them last year. Seemed like a pretty decent office. I seriously considered it, but my Broker made me a better offer to keep me.

Every office is different. I was impressed with what they offered especially for new agents. The only company I have ever worked with is Re\Max. It has its advantages but WOW it was a struggle starting out, no training, no support, just a "Bring home the money!" not to mention the high cost of doing business. Its a wonder I ever survived, but its been a fun journey!

Hi there,
Coldwell Banker, in my opinion, is a very good company to start your career. They have excellent training and tools that will help cut down on your expenses. You will learn a lot about the type of questions that buyers and sellers are asking by doing "floor time" at these large companies with a lot of listings. If you make any mistakes - you were only a voice on the phone but will learn a lot, so it is a great place to practice and maybe even get lucky enough to get a customer out of it. Don't worry about choosing the wrong company - if you find that you are not as happy with your choice as you expected remember that you are an "independent contractor" and can move your license to another office any time you choose. Good Luck with your new career!

Coldwell Banker is a great place to start...They usually have great training and plenty of other agents to help you. Once you have over a year under your belt you will feel more comfortable exploring other ideas.
