Hello ya'll. Just to note, I'm not a newbie, I've been on this site a long time, I just had to create a new profile because I've changed my email and contact info recently.
ANYWAY I've read the threads on preparing for the Broker Exam and could not find any info on the License Professor" study guide. As I understand it, there are many study guides available, the key is to find the one which has questions MOST like the state exam'a actual questions.

I've done all of the coursework and am now waiting to be scheduled to sit for the exam and need to get studying so.........

Any insight, anyone?

I used Allied.

Every question on my exam was also in my study course. I highly reccommend them.

I'm another fan of Allied and I passed on the first try - but I also studied for 4 hrs a day for 2 weeks beforehand.

Mmmmmmm..................now I'm confused because I've read on here that Allied's questions are not the same as the State Exam questions. They are the same questions as for the coursework exams but not the state exam..............

I used www.passpasspass.com. WEB based study based upon repetition and successful retention of answers. I studied 12 hours a day for three days leading up to the exam. Study program has 2000 questions.

I also used index cards, question and answer on each side. Then read just the answer to see if you can remember the question. I did this for questions that I failed on a couple of times.

In the test, read the answers only. Your brain will fill in the question.

Were the study guide questions the same as the exam questions? And was this post 2006? As I understand the exam questions were all changed that year.

Some questions were added to the question pool but the whole test wasn't changed.

I'd either go with Lumbleau (very old school, but good if you are starting from scratch) or Allied (just want the practice tests to do over and over).

I took the Broker Exam in April and used both since I had a friends discs.

I used Anthony schools. They had several hours of DVDs (mostly info from the salesperson exam) that I wouldn't get.

The software with practice tests was the key for me. Made flash cards of the questions I got wrong. Just took the test in Sept. passed on the first go. Did notice some questions on the state exam that were not in the study materials though.

Sounds like Allied may have more of the same questions.
