I think what we are trying to tell you, is becoming a new agent you will spend money before you make money. Your 1st year will be using your credit card. Expect family & friends not to use you, expect deals to fall apart at the last minute. Spend $100.00 in gas driving buyers around and they go out and buy a new home. Go out on a sign call and the buyer has an agent (buyers lie). Have your first listing that never sells. Do open houses and no one shows up so you eat all the cookies. Pay desk fees, board fees, MLS fees, fees for fees. Now if you can get through the money and the many many disapoinments, you'll make it. I've been a full time agent for 7 years love it!!! BTY bought a new 5 series BMW last week, my broker was not there to pay for it.
