These forums are NOT for anonymous individuals to disparage individual REALTORS. If you want to do that you can create your own website to do that where you are not anonymous and can actually be held accountable - and take all of the legal consequences that go with it.

This is the third time you have done this and your access has been blocked - go away.

Having watched by as my parents had multiple horrifying experiences with unethical realtors, I wonder why it is the "good" real estate professionals (providing there are some out there) take steps to protect those they know are dirty? The Missouri Real Estate Commission is staffed by "real estate professionals" (ie, Brokers) and when presented with evidence that a licensee has broken laws or violated ethical standards, they close the meetings (which is in violation of the state's sunshine law, btw) and make it nearly impossible for the average consumer to find out about the licensee's conduct and/or supposed punishment received.

Even this forum has deleted a thread where proven unethical conduct was disclosed publicly. I can direct any person reading this thread to the online govt website which will allow anyone to look up the Affidavit of Vested Interest used to muddy the title of my stepfathers home, thus making it unmarketable. Yet, the "professionals" on this site have squashed the publics ability to access this information. How are we (the average consumer) to have any faith in the integrity, ethics, or honesty of "real estate professionals" when they refuse to police themselves and shed light on those who are undeserving of trust?

Many agents/brokers on this site were more than ready to point the finger of blame at my stepfather for the failure of his homebuilding business. Some of them even went so far as to attack my mother for her support of her husband. They fail to reprimand the broker and agents for using an illegal document to stop him from being able to sell his home. They also failed to speak out against the broker/realtor's unjustified ransom demands made of my parents before they would release the encumbrance on property's title, and they failed to acknowledge the assistance and marketing my parents provided for this corrupt individual during the 2 years he worked with her.

So, where is the justice? And why should any of us ever trust any of "your kind" with what will very possibly be the biggest purchase we will ever make during our life? Why would any builder ever want to place his livelihood in your hands? Why is it you find no wrong in what was obviously an act of extortion?

This forum, run by realtors and professing to be assisting consumers, has once again protected their own at the expense of the innocent.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

BTW.... if you want to verify my claims, please feel free to [contact me by PM for information regarding this situation.]

You can pull it [documents] up, view the actual document and even print out a copy. There is no denying that this document served no purpose but to muddy the title to my parents property given that 8 different attorneys (licensed by the Missouri Bar) deemed it illegal. But when a bankrupt man has no financial means to defend himself in court, the use of this document by his broker and/or agent becomes extortion.

It is no different than if [the agent] herself was to hold a gun to my stepfather's head and scream: "YOU WILL EITHER PAY ME WHAT I DEMAND OR YOUR PROPERTY WILL NEVER SELL!"

Now tell me honestly, is that right? Or does this constitute unethical actions?

I'm going to expect this thread to be deleted as well as I don't believe any "real estate professional" will ever do anything other than protect their own kind.

How many times have you posted this on this forum? All other instances of this post will be deleted, as it is against our terms of service for you to post the same message multiple times.

I am also going to edit your post to remove the names. This board is not the place to air your frustrations with particular people. Try your own blog, website, or even http://www.ripoffreport.com or some other such site.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

To also know the correct way to go through the complaint process, will help in resolving problems. Obviously, if the legal profession sees no legal basis or value in the complaint, you might as well move on to more constructive endeavors. (BTW, not ALL the the MO. RE Commissioners are RE Agents, but almost all)
See link to the MO. complaint process below.
