ASG BPO took 6 months to pay me on a driveby exterior. I finaly emailed the rep and I got the check in a few days

Lighthouse Real Estate Solutions is LOW PAY SLOW PAY, They pay after 90 days and their pay is small. My team and I do accept them, but we don't try to rush it. They don't rush to pay us, we don't rush to get it done.

Beware of IAS. Integrated Asset Services. LOW PAY SLOW PAY. They emailed me an order for an exterior, then asked me to upgrade to an interior and promised to upgrade the fee as well, but since I never got anything in writing on the amount of the upgrade, they only sent the driveby fee. Then when I comlained, they said they couldn't do anything about it because that rep was gone. They also try to only pay $50 for an interior and when I called the rep on it, she said they change reps and territories like the wind and I could either accept the order or not. I decided on NOT.

I would like to change the industry too. Experenced agents must hang onto their integrity and do work for what they are worth. Let the newbies get $18 for an asset verification hybrid.

When ever I negotiate a fee, especially if it's over the phone, I always ask the company to send me a new email or confirmation. That way it's in writing.

That is the way I do it too. Confirm the agreement in writing before I start the job.

Laura always pays, but she requires some gentle prodding. USP&A is the only company who has never paid me.

I am curious how to ask Laura/LB market Evalution to pay past due invoice - does anybody have a success to collect from her? I sent her invoice-both by USmail and email, and called her after 2 weeks of no pay, she said that check will be cut by 9/6/08. Nothing yet, sent her another email last Friday and left voice message - still nothing. Don't try to cry over $190 but it would be nice to have a little fun with that.

Oh by the way, I didn't know about Laura's bad reputation before I did 3 BPO in early July.

Thank you all for any useful advice!

Laura has always paid me, after some gentle prodding. She's nice on the phone too. Maybe you should give her a call.

Ryan, what defines "some gentle prodding", please share your tactic. I spoke with her three weeks ago, she said payment will be sent on 9/6/08, left her another voice message this Tuesady along with kind email remainder with invoice attached(for early July!). Anyone can share their collection techniques, please!

The first order I did for Laura was paid in a little over 2 months. Same with the second. Make sure she has your W2.

All I did was send emails on a weekly basis and called her once.

My last LB order was in 2005, they did pay but it was about 2 months before I received it.

I just got a check from LB Market Evaluation after sending her 3rd email with invoice attached, hope this check is good and won't bounce. But from now on, I won't do any more BPOs for LB even though their forms are easy, but headache for collecting past due invoices is not worth it.
