Anyone have a number for 1st option. I think they are handling the AHM assets. Either way I need to get in contact with them ASAP. AN appraisal company keeps calling me trying to set up an appointment to get into a property that they say I am in charge of. I have no idea what is going on. Thanks

Why don't you ask the appraisal company for THEIR contact at 1st option or AHM? That would seem to be the best way to get directly to the person who knows anything about the property they ordered an appraisal on.

American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc. has acquired the REO assets of Option One Mortgage and is using the DARES platform of their FOAMS (First Option Asset Management System) disposition organization. It is very difficult to contact them by e-mail, and virtually impossible by 'phone, if you have access (user name and password) then log on to DARES to see your assignments.

If you don't have access try tbtrackstar's suggestion.

Thanks for the reply guys. I went ahead and checked some of my old e-mail and found the ones with updates on them changing to FAS for servicing of their assets and then I also found the e-mail showing me my password and id info for their new website. I then logged onto the AHM servicing website and low and behold I had a request to accept the new asset that the appraisal company was asking for. It shows that the that I needed to accept 8 days ago and turn in bpo 3 days ago. So, I went ahead and accepted assignment and now I need to go complete the bpo. I am curious as to why I did not receive a request Via e-mail. Either way I also sent a message to the asset manager explaining why the delay. Thanks everyone , we'll see how it goes!!!
