Thanks so much for your note.

Opening up a real estate brokerage in this market surely can be challenging, but there are many top companies still suceeding inspite of this shifting market.

In regards to training, our team here in Minnesota has 35 agents, and we have not really had alot of success with online training. We have found it effective to get together frequently for mini-training sessions, covering a wide array of topics: how to work with an investment property buyer in our Minneapolis market, how to list a home, etc.

I wish you much success with this new endeavor. Don't let anyone tell you, you can't do it. There is so much potential in this market. Even with a ton of homes for sale on the MLS, our team here in MN has seen a dramatic increase in closed transactions.

What kind of training are you talking about? Sales training or contract and transaction training? There is plenty of online programs about getting leads and promoting yourself. You can pretty much pick your poison there. But from transaction and contracts, local rules, customs and regulations you are much better off trying to conduct that yourself for your agents. Every area is different. Getting leads is the mostly the same.
