Overnight Prints is very good and I have also used Pelican Print. Both very good, fast, and inexpensive.

I use very few cards as my main business is with corporate REO clients that I never meet in person. I do use a few for the buyers that call on my listings and in general don't work with other buyers. What few I need are very basic, generated on my computer in a MS Word program, and printed on Avery (or equal) blanks that snap apart in standard card size.

Try Vistaprint (on line). I have used them for years. I use my cards all the time and am always restocking my supply. The results are obvious when I see people searching for me on the internet.

Use the same Company as the Brokerage that you are joining. They will have all of the artwork and matching inks to do the best job in a short time frame and cheap. You can search for a better deal later when; but don't waste your time now on this nickel and dime stuff when you know you'll be getting the correct (final) product altered many times in the beginning.

WELL Perky, I know you didn't pay for those Scary Cards, did you ? ? ?
Steven Davis hasn't finished taking classes in preparation for the Arizona Exam yet; so I think he can take his time and settle on a Broker first, and THEN see if he likes the Printer who has that Firm's Logos, Artwork, Correct Phone Numbers, Address, etc.
Step by step; inch by inch.
I do recall someone having Business Cards printed up that had the Phone Number wrong and did not notice for 3 weeks after she started using them.

My brokerage has a printer, but, I do not like their cards. I found a card that I liked and gave it to the printer and came out with my card. My first printing was a little higher than most, but the reprints are cheap. I just email them now and order cards. They fax over a proof, I approve it and they show up at my office with a bill. I would suggest though that you get a proof of any card you order and have your broker approve the proof as well. Their are certain things that have to be on the card to comply with regulations.

No, I didn't pay for them - the brokerage did (my first set is paid by the brokerage) I used them until I could get my good ones ordered (which interestingly enough, don't have my picture on at all - I went totally different and used a beautiful landscape shot of the Delaware River - I get a LOT of comments on the card, and it does stand out from all the other identical cards.) Now I use these crappy cards, what ones I have left, when I have to leave cards behind at listings or give a card at a security gate to get into a community. I am a fuss pot - sort of. I'm very easy to please, as long as things are done the way I want them.

Given the average life of a business card, which I don't perceive to be very long, and the fact that most of clients being AMs for REOs across the country which I never meet in person, I have a relatively low budget card. At this point the typical 1000 purchase would be a life time supply. I use a few for the prospective buyers that look at my listings (and don't spend time showing other listings as I decline to be involved in buyer agency) and sometimes include them with letters to clients and vendors.
Very basic: On the front my name in the same script typeface I use on my signs and other printed materials; regular text for address, e-mail and 'phone/fax numbers. Name in red, all else in blue, on white background. Back side is plain text in black on white showing my professional affiliations (including both ML services) and the fact that I am a HUD certified broker for selling those properties. I print them 20 or 30 at a time as needed on Avery (or equal) prescored blanks.
Call me cheap if you want to, I think of it as thrifty!
