On the comp properties it is asking the following: Did you personally inspect this property?

I have been to the properties, but not in them as some are solds and such. Do I say yes as I have been there or no as I have done no physical inspection? I assume no, but just want to be sure I am not hurting myself by assuming.

Thank you in advance

Brian

Brian, you can pick NO and it won't hurt your score at all. I usually put NO unless I have shown it or visited it on the office tour and physically been in it.

Brian, Please put NO unless you have personally seen the inside. That question is there just in case you had previously shown it or something. If you Mark Yes I would write in the comments that you showed it & the month & year smile When doing DRIVE BY bpos the bank assumes the outside & the inside are in similar condition...which I know is not always the case...So if you have seen the inside at some point they may have a better idea of the interior condition. Hope that helps!!!

Thank you all, I was thinking along those lines, but wanted to be sure. This is an interior rush, but I can not get access due to renters so I will have to hash it out with them this morning. Should be fun.

Since it is an interior the owner (landlord) should be well aware of your needing access. It is his responsibility to make sure you have access. You really shouldn't be dealing with his renters directly.
