25 orders?.......How long ago was that and how short was the form?.....25 orders would sure fill my quota for the week..lol

it was last year, and it was a later in the evening drop. no one else was taking the orders, and i happened to catch someone there at the office, and told them basically, hey, if you want these done on time, up my max. they did it. it stayed like that for a few months.

There has been two times this year I felt like I hit the lotto.
When I went to the posting board and there were 15 open orders
......wait, it gets better.......before they were done posting there were over 40 orders available...the first time I just grabbed what was available ......many had distance on them... the next time I waited and picked what I wanted.....worked out a lot better a saved a bunch of fuel......but, both times I felt like a kid in a candy store.....what a rush..I just have to be careful now that I don't take on more than I can handle. I had an order this afternoon that was 30 miles out... was located only 8 miles from an indian casino......did the math.....$50 order.....-$500 casino.....hmmmmm......I let that one go....afterwards I got curious and decided to comp it out
......the BPO gods were smiling upon me.....only one comp within 5 miles.....glad I let that one go....

I wish I had one of those days where there're more than 10 orders just sitting there waiting for me... Have you ever had any order after 5 p.m. from them on the board?

shoot ^ I'd cry if I got that many orders at a time HAHa. The most I have had is two in a row LOL

I have had no night orders or anything on the posting board since I got my new "go to person". A few months ago I had emails coming in starting at 10:30pm my time (12:30am Texas time) and stopped around a little after midnight....got 4 orders....then went to the posting board and got "magic #5. Those days may come back again once we get out of this slump most companies are in. You would think California would continue to have tons of orders. The slump my be due to the new law where the lender has to contact the owner at least 30 days before filing a notice of default....just a wild guess. I've got a trip I have to take the middle of next week and will be gone 5 days.....watch a ton of orders come in then.

The orders will come.......just have faith....the key to this business is finding the companies you WANT TO WORK FOR. There are enough postings throughout this site to make you aware of which ones are a waste of time. I haven't been back in this BPO race that long but I've already fired four companies. I had one fire me when I turned one order down (major player). It bothered me at first ,but, in time I realized it was the best thing that could have happened. Being "old school" may have been part of it. Respect is an important part of who I am. I give it and I expect to get the same in return. I won't kiss up to anybody to get business...Some of these BPO and REO companies I believe expect us to do just that..Who knows, before this is all over, I may be greeting you at the front door of Wal-Mart saying HELLO, WELCOME TO WAL-MART. Who knows, maybe Wal_Mart may go into the real estate business..lol

I agree with Jim. Hang in there! Keep applying to new companies in your spare/slow time and educating yourself through reading some more. I know that's what I do.

Thank you guys! But i was talking about more than two orders at a time popping up on EML with the find work button. I am signed up with a ton of company's. I get a decent amount of orders in a week to keep me happy right now. Of course, hopefully they will get busier like they have been in the past. The orders are slow now ,... but its because of the company's I believe.. not what I have done wrong.

Now, what kind of an agent wouldn't be taking their lap top with them?....lol,,,,As for the pictures I have an agent that will take them for me...

SPEAKING OF PICTURES..........Has anybody in the group gotten an email from a company that will take your BPO pictures recently?...They appear to be focusd on the western states. I love their fee structure.....starts at $20 and goes up....did some quick math.....their take is about 40% of the BPO fee...

Your state is rated in the top 5 when it comes to foreclosures. Unless you happen to be in an area where most buyers pay cash you should be good to go....As I said in an earlier post I found that the orders hit the posting board a few seconds in front of the email.....which means anybody on the posting board has a shot at your order....I've found it rare to find large orders to pick from but it does happen.

I have never received an email from EML either. I always get the Find Work button... they say I'm on the email list too. Who knows HAHA. I'm just glad I'm catching what I can through them... I like their forms (well most of them) and the quick payments.

Justine. That's good for you. I signed up with tons of companies as well but still have to do follow-ups for roughly 70% of those that I apply. Cheers to tons of BPOs in August!

Those follow ups really work. I did that yesterday and two responded back to me with application approvals, and three responded back with some error I made with my coverages section that I have now fixed.
