I heard that over the past couple days a few people's PR went down, while other's went up. It's funny how fickle stuff like that can be. I'm still waiting for mine to jump one way or another. LOL

Do you remember how many months ago a large group of Realtors removed their links pages from their websites? Most were some of the most aggressive link traders and had lots of links. It takes Google a long, long time to reflect such changes and this would be causing a lot of the PR drop many are experiencing now.

I find I can rank best for my different targeted terms if I build backlinks that contain the targeted anchor text in the link. If you build enough backlinks Google will see that you may be more relevant then your competitors for that specific keyword and move you up in the Google SERPS.
I find the same thing. I find a PR of 1 is quite easy to get if you have a few backlinks to the page that has unique content and a video or two. Now the challenge is to get above 1...
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
