for those of you mentioning the REO network ....is it safe to say that you did BPOS....or worked with REOS before getting on that site?

I can't imagine how you would attract AMs to use you if you don't have REO/BPO experience. But what you say needs to be truthful, easier to remember, but also many verify information.

Tony - yes, you have to have experience with REO to get on REONetwork, they do ask for references and verify as far as I know.

I was just checking....I tried to register with them...and I saw areas that asked how many REOS and a lender to verify.....
When I heard about the site ....I didnt hear someone say..make sure you have done a few of them before you register....
So...I was just doublechecking with you all......
Cool..now I know.....was sort of bummed...seemed like a great site......guess I will have to wait on that...

Tony -
I am an asset manager for one of the largest default servicers in the nation and have used reonetwork for over 8 years.
They are a great site for finding agents, they are just overstuffed with agents to do any new ones any good.
The newest site is reoallstars.com - they even have a free listing.
This is the site that I and my fellow asset managers have started to use to find our new agents.
I hope this helps you out.
Thanks

Jeffc - Just curious. If you have used reonetwork for over 8 years and think they are a great site for finding agents, why are you using a new site to find new agents? I mean, if you are saying one is overstuffed with agents, why would you have to go anywhere else? It seems a bit suspect. Again, just curious.

I have to agree with you RecoveringAgent - According to Whois.com, the owner Click Marketing and has a fake phone number and the address is a Mail Boxes, etc address. There are not really a lot of people registered on the site, major metro areas only and since he recently just registered here and the domain name, I believe it is blatant attempt at free advertising.

Wow -
Talk about reaching.
I never said that I do not use reo network, because I do still use their site everyday.
I was just saying for any new agents that this site has many, many agents already listed on it.
I am trying to help out all you agents that are looking for additional REO work. I actually use many different sites to find agents, although most are filled with agents I already use.
Here are the sites we use:
REO network reobroker.com reoagents.net fannie mae website reotrans resnet reoallstars reoassigns nrba
I am trying to help you agents out and this is the kind of backlash that goes on here?
You finally get someone here that can help you grow your business and you want to run them off, amazing!
I will leave this forum and all you agents alone since you do not want the help.
Good luck to the few of you that seem to be truly interested in trying to gain knowledge about the REO industry, If you want some insight from the asset manager perspective or have any questions you can send me a PM since I won't be posting here again.
Thanks

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
