I can't start a new topic yet because of the new restrictions so I am placing here because this topic is related. I apologize but there is no way around it until I get 30 posts.
I recently completed the Ocwen on line training. What a joke. They sent several of us to the same conference call and we waited with no idea what we should do. Finally the trainer comes on line and we do a brief review of the website and send him an email with our name, etc. I was able to login to the site after several calls to tech support. I had received no orders for several days and called them to see if I was still in the system. I was actually in their system twice. Once with a previous Broker. They de activated that account and told me to call back next week if I don't start getting orders. I really wasn't expecting to get anything from them for a while but will be happy to take the work. Is that normally how it goes?

ocwen will send you REO's if they are in your area, however, it all depends on how many agents they have in your area. To increae your chances, call each morning before 8am. also in your service areas, make sure if you choose an area that you are really willing to go there, and if you choose an area that is not a preferred area that most agents hate to go, like a more rural area, you should get listings. It could take awhile though either way, their a/m's have favored agents that they use over and over again.

now they are 2 for 2....2 closing, both with supposed bonuses, neither of them paid the bonus out. Ocwen sent over info to the closer not showing the bonus. You have to make sure it is on the addendum from the beginning, you can write it in. Stay on top of them if it is not written on the executed contract. I was paid for mine that just closed.

Along with that, they also changed the commission on the addendum to the new structure, along with the bonus. They paid me for the new commission change, just not the bonus. I dont even know who to contact on that. The folks who you are supposed to contact for "escalated issues" never return emails.

REOBIRDLADY, Are you saying call them everyday to see if they have an REO available before 8 am? I just finally got a bpo order (today) from them and that was because I started calling once a week (I got apporved in June) so I could get an order. I was wondering if they would end up getting thinking I was a bug a boo.

When you called did you ask for a certain asset manager/person or just asked the person that answers if they have any REO or Bpo orders in your area? Thanks..I just signed up with them...

You know something, Ocwen seems to be super busy and they have become a lot slower with responding to emails etc. I actually have some occupants calling me to find out if I've gotten any response for their CFK. I hope they don't take forever. I have to probably contact the supervisors.
I got an email for an interior BPO and it wasn't through Realtrans. I look up the property and it's a REO that used to be listed with another realtor for quite some time. Anyone have this experience? Does this mean it's a REO assignment???

Sara - if they are paying you, it's probably not an REO assignment. It could be to justify a price reduction or other reasons.

Can anyone tell me what the commission to the listing agent used to be and what it is now? And how does this $700 come into it? I want to make sure that I am getting paid right. Thank you It used to be that there was a sliding scale depending on the list price of the property ranging from about 2% on the low side to 2.5%. I don't have it in front of me, but that's where most homes fall. Now they are paying a total of 6% commission and want a 1.4% referral fee back. That leaves 4.6%. The agreement does not say how you are to split that up but they expect 3% to the selling agent and 1.6% to you. Until they specify otherwise, I am offering 2.5% and keepng 2.1%. The $700 is a property management fee and goes on the addendum along with the commission when you have an approved contract. If you do your part and send in MSRs etc, they are supposed to pay that as well at closing. I've had some fights regarding the commission split and imo they will change to specify the 3% to selling agent soon.
