HI, i found a service nearby who will automatically post listings on craigs, and (20) other sites. Here is the link: http://westchestercountyinfo.com/webdocs/port_local/NY_Westchester/Homepage.htm?agent_services=t&Posting=t&posting_form=t
Now that we are getting more listings (yay!) we need to advertise them well. Anyone have any other site or service that is better? this is only $30/mo.

Thanks!

We actually use the same technology for our real estate websites - XML syndication. Your listings are put into one big XML file every day or so and sent over to Trulia, Zillow, etc.

Now, for craigslist and what not, they can't do it automatically. They create the ad for you and you have to put it in there manually. I would assume, however, craigslist and others not using xml syndication currently, might adopt in the future.

innovign is correct. Some sites like Craigslist do not accept XML Feeds and require the listings to be entered by hand, one at a time.

If you have less than 50 listings, sites like postlets.com are great. For syndicating more than that, use this site: www.ARTIS-USA.com

Craigslist TOU prohibits using a posting service. It does not take that long to post or use Postlets so why pay? I started with Postlets, switched to making my own ads to drive people to my website instead of to Postlets. Not do-follow hits, but at least it comes to my site, with my listings.

here is one I was very impressed with. I have 2 dozen other sites that also syndicate to dozens of classifies sites.

check this site out. very nice format on craigslist and allows you to post links to websites and virtual tours. up to 10 free...

I tried to use Postlets for the first time. The interface is very clean and user-friendly compared to classifiedflyerads, but I had no luck in registering an account. It didn't allow me to select anything besides a U.S. state. Has anyone outside of the U.S. had any luck creating an account? The service looks promising.

CL required phone verified accounts to post in most sections. You will have to give your phone number and they will call you with a code you have to enter in order to post. If you post more then 2 or 3 times a day, your account will be gone in a week.

Wow, thanks for all the info on all of these tools. I've heard of Postlets, but I'll have to check out these other recommendations as well.

You should take a look at www.vflyer.com. They automatically post to:
Oodle
Google Base
Vast
Yahoo
HotPads
Trulia
Zillow
Geebo
OLX
DotHomes
CyberHomes
FrontDoor
Backpage

They are the most professional looking electronic flyers and they provide the code for a great looking post to Craigslist.

Here is a link to a flyer I did for a client http://dayna.vflyer.com/home/flyer/home/1955233 and here is the post on Craigslist http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/reb/882082841.html (may be expired)

Best of all is there is a free version.
