When LA asks for distance to subject is that a probable reo or just slight possible? If they ask for it, it is because their client wants to know.

Ok - I need a little help. On the 3rd, we were autoassigned 2 orders from Landam. Those of you who have experience with auto assign with them, please help me understand. This is the first orders we have gotten from them in a year - we started our own company and they had to set us up fresh in their system. The new account was hosed up until last week. Now we get two orders auto assigned. As in - there doesn't appear to be a way to decline them! The only button/link on the order list is confirm. I'm not touching it! We can't do these orders. They are ridiculously out of our area. I did email the rep, but I guess they aren't there this weekend. The orders were due yesterday.
Will they re-assign them tomorrow? Or call us? Anyone know? Is there a button I'm not seeing? This is not the mindbrix system. It's a different, possibly internal system.
I hated not to take them since we have been so long out of the loop with them, but they are two hours away from each other in opposite directions from us!

Anyone help me here? Do they auto-assign? It is my understanding that their BPO division does not auto assign, but the REO division does auto assign. If anyone else has a different experience, I'd like to know.

You can go into the area to perform an action and add a comment to re-assign. Do not hit the confirm button. Once you've input the comment they will re-assign. I always e-mail my rep as well.
I am on auto assign for two of their divisions for BPO's. Although I still haven't received a listing from them even though the reports state that you will receive the listing when they receive the asset after trustee sale. I figure I still am having to do my time with them. I am not on the site that you have to click to get orders.

Thanks I just did that. And I suspect this is the REO division. That made it a hard decision. But its just too far and if it was a listing, we really don't need that to take care of that far away.
I think there is some confusion over these divisions. If anyone wants to pm me, I can confirm the website I am logging into. Again, thanks for the help.

From my understanding there is a BPO side and an REO side. You're not going to get listings just from doing BPOs. You have to go through the REO side. I also believe they require three years experience.
But that's just what they've told me. The story does seem to change based on who you talk to there.

The nasco side is the former Capital Title and Apraisal in Western Pa that was acquired by LA a couple of years ago. That side only does the BPO, appraisal and title side of the business. The REO and some of the BPO work come from a LA location which I believe is on the west coast

I haven't received a listing - however I have spoken to them and they do assign listings (just not to me...!! haha) They don't handle as much as the LA area but according to my reps they do have REO.
