Anyone getting some ridiculous counters back from Ocwen? For the past week, every offer I have submitted has come back with terrible counters that are over and above the list price AND any concessions...grrrr. Anyone else out there experiencing the same thing recently?

Yep, experiencing the same with GD. And over 30 days to get a response besides "we are busy and will get to it in order received" on offer 10k over asking. Now that I finally got the AM to accept, the buyers are "thinking about it". UUUGHHH!!!

Had a full price offer a couple months ago on another one and took 2+ weeks for review/acceptance and the buyers walked. Now that property is still sitting waiting for another price reduction.

Yes, it seems certain AMs know how to handle offers better than others. I have a couple with them that are one day responders. Than a couple others who just really need help.

I don't know how counters work with every company..But for a majority of mine they will never accept the first offer, they are required to counter or tweak the terms some how..at least thats what most of my AMs have told me..Some even send me a nice email before I get the ridiculous counter saying it isn't there fault they are required too..

I've been waiting a week to get an answer on an offer I made for a purchase on an Indymac, I can't even get ahold of the listing agent, feel like I have hit the jackpot when her assistant answers the phone. I hope I never get like that...

GD has always responded like clockwork same day. AM's seem to be better trained there...

I have had very good luck with Ocwen. Usually I get a counter offer in less than two hours.
