I am getting a quote from Pearl they seem nice.

Basically for 250,000 premium would be 620.00 a year but for 1 million coverage would be 800.00 per year so I am thinking about doing the 800.

Basically I had to estimate how much REO business I have and if it is under 50 percent they will write the policy but if over 50 they have to look at a thrid party as it's seen more risky above that level.Right now I am not above 50 percent so I wouldn't see an issue.

Since I am a newer company less than 3 years rasing the deductible they said wouldn't save me any money.

Any thoughts...

Others can confirm but the $1M may be a requirement for some companies.

I know you are more asking about the cost. I dont know, mines through my company but $800 seems like a good price.

I have them and went with the higher - felt it was a good buy for the addl coverage.

I've been with Pearl since going on my own. First year I had to estimate the amount of business I'd be doing but don't recall that REO was broken out from the total.

I have $500,000 and it has been acceptable to all my clients, $250,000 seems a little light to me. Premium cost appears to be in the right range to be competitive.
