I am thinking about using Top Producer. I was interested in the Market bundle builder. Bundle includes: Market Builder,Top Producer 8i,Market Snapshot,Top Connector and I would add the website builder. I believe the rep said it would cost me 215.0 a month. Anyone use this program? I have not been able to find many negative comments about Top Producer.

I have not been able to find many negative comments about Top Producer. I took TP8i for a test drive a while back and found that it was slow. I can't stand clicking the mouse button then having to wait 5, 10, 15, or even 30 seconds for the new screen to load. FYI it was slow on every computer I tried it on, so it just wasn't my system that it performed slowly with. Also....If I were you i'd try it for the free 30day trial before paying any set-up fees etc. The tech support with TP is better than any Tech support I'v ever called for anything. They deserve credit for that. The up front learning curve is tough and I'd suggest paying for formal training and committing to just learning it for a while to use all its functions properly and especially to customize your own follow-up plans etc. TP's dirty little secret is that it has alot of functionality, but most users never use most of them. I was using it with IE7 and when I called and told them I was canceling because it's too slow, they told me they're working on that problem, but that it does work faster with Firefox.

I did some online research on Top Producer and making the whole computer slow was a major complaint. I know my frustration tolerance, and if it was slow, I wouldn't use it.
I talked to a TP user at a class recently, he said it is not for the technologically challenged, there is quite a learning curve, but once you "get it," the software operates well. Interfaces with other programs well for mailings and such.
I have looked into Lead Commander, but I'm not finding customer reviews outside of their website. It is a one time fee $299, seems too good to be true.
For $215 a month, TP Market Bundle should shine your shoes and wash your car. That seems like alot of money to me.

I love top producer...I have had it over 2 years and it is the best out there...there are glitches and it runs slow sometimes, but it is a great way to 'all in one' your business, prospecting, client/listing management, farming, etc...8i is full of bugs 7i works fine if you have an adequate computer, old computers are not any good...they have the best customer service team and could walk a homeless person through a bypass surgery...lol Thanks Ralph, I'd agree with all you said. 35-40 bucks a month doesn't seem to bad for the basic program either, considering the support (notice I said support, not training). Also, I don't think anyone signing up as a new customer can get 7i, arent they phasing all current users into 8i? Do you use IE7 or Forefox, and do you know if it's much faster w/ Firefox to make a difference. Okeydoka

The TP's in my office swear by it. If youre raking in 100k a year then why not try it. I've never heard of 200+bucks a month though.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
