Is anyone else having problems with posts to Craigslist?

I've posted on Friday of both this week and last week, but they never appear even though the confirmation email arrives. Apparently, I'm not alone because the help board is filled with others who are experiencing the same issue. But there never seems to be a reply that I can use. I don't spam the board, posting only once or twice per week while others often post the same nonsense a couple of times per day. Any thoughts on what's going on?

No issues I have seen with our local http://Pensacola.CraigsList.com.You mentioned that you get the confirmation emails. Do you have an account setup with CraigsList? If so, then the confirmation email is just a confirmation, but if you aren't logged in with an account when you post, then the confirmation email will contain a link that must be clicked to take you to a CraigsList page, where you then click the "publish" button to finalize the posting. Just mentioning that just in case it applies to you, but you did mention other posts noting posting issues, so it could very well be that CraigsList was/is having some software difficulties.

What you're talking about is "ghosting", where it appears that the ad is posted, but it doesn't show up. It could be triggered by many things, but mainly it is posting too quickly or in too many cities at once.
Since you said you only post once or twice a week, that may not be the problem. Craigslist is always changing their algorithm to keep spam out, so it may be a change they implemented.
One thing that could trigger it may be your ad copy. If you use the wrong phrase, one of their spam filters which may "ghost" your ad. Try changing the wording a little bit to see if that helps.

I stop posting in Craigslist, they will accept your ads then after an hour or so for no reason they will delete it.

When posting on craigslist you have to be careful that you do not show that you are spamming. There are many ways around this. I come from a networking marketing background and I have placed 1,000 of ads on craigslist on a single day before. The main thing is you need to change your IP address every 5 ads, have unique titles, lots of different email accounts and about 5 different ads. If you are only planning to post a few ads a day then you can do it manual. You have to remember that with in a few hours that your ad can be on craigslist 3rd or 4th page since people are constantly posting. In that case no one will see your ads. Here is the software that I use to post the ads. Once you set it up its all automated and you can leave it run. I use a laptop and a sprint wireless card. http://www.livingeasysoftware.comGood luck and if any one needs help feel free to send me a message!

#1 Thing to remember when posting anywhere on the internet, especially Craigslist. You must put your brokerage name in all your advertising (if you state laws requirement it) and that does not mean a link to a another page that discloses the broker name. It must be in the actual ad itself.
Our RE Commission is cracking down on offenders in my area (I always have my brokerage name in the ad), so I am safe.
Easier to avoid the fine than having to pay it.
