So I have a brokers licence and real estate licence in another state, i have passed all nevada real estate tests that need to be passed to obtain my licence their. I also understand they have to do an extensive background check before i have the nevada licence in my hands. i have been fingerprinted and everything. My question is, how long does this backgrouind process take? anybody here already go thru this process? and when could I expect to have my licence when all is said and done? i do realize that it varies for everyone, but im looking for a ballpark estimate.how long has it taken some of you guys on here to go thru this process and obtain it.

one more thing: is there anyway to speed up this procees.because i have a big job opportunity waiting for me and need my licence asap..all im waiting for is the background check which i asked to be done a week ago.

I have been licensed in Nevada for over 3 years. When I was waiting for my license, it took them about 3 months to get the background check done. They were understaffed at the time though. I am sure they are taking around a month now.
