I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on REO management software. I have looked at reo hq it runs on the salesforce platform. Also tazareo and reomaestro or are you still using access and excel. I would like your feedback if you use any of the above programs or if you use something not mentioned.

MyREOOffice.com should be available October 2008. It's an online database designed specifically for REO agents. You can store data, create work orders, track invoicing. I'm looking for REO agents/brokers to beta test the program for a few weeks--probably in August 2008. In exchange, I can offer you the program free for one year. If anyone is interested, please contact me at kare@myreooffice.com. Thank you.

REO Maestro -check it out. it is the best I have said it a dozen times on this forum (they should pay me). I am up to 350 properties. couldn't have done it without this software. I have only hired one additional person.

I noticed that REO HQ has a place to input showings for each property. Does REO Maestro have a place for showings?

I am finding it hard to handle the inventory. I have been using excel to keep my stuff organized. I will be reviewing the available solutions..I am looking for hosted solutions. I decide to keep a REO Software blog at blogger just to review these services. Hope it will help other agents in the same boat.

It's amazing to me how much these companies are charging! We use google docs and a system that is attached to our MLS called RELAY that is customizable to any task associated with a listing. The cost?? Google docs is free and RELAY was $49 a year!

We are a software development company based in Northern VA and we have recently released a web based product to help Property Preservation companies manage their properties, contractors and work order processing called ePreserv (https://www.epreserv.com). The product is 100% web based, there is no software to download and we are also offering a free 30 day trial period. You can view demos for some of our key modules and sections before you sign up for ePreserv. (We will be releasing the Invoice module shortly).

We welcome you to visit our web site https://www.epreserv.com and check out the product.

Thanks.

Bumping - My inventory doubled last week and I am now finding I need to get a better handle on things.

So, those of you that are using REOMaestro, how's it working for you? What do you like? Dislike? What's the best feature?

Good feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I developed my own and I can give you a trial test site to play around with it. Just send me a email with your contact info and I will get you setup. I will need your full name and email. The price is cheaper than reomaestro.

I did the 'show and tell' on Friday with REO Maestro. It is an amazing program. My question to them was is it compatible with Quickbooks. My question never got answered due to the length of the training (2.5 hrs) and I had to go!! But it looks like something I could sink my teeth into and have it up and running in no time...well, maybe some time and effort. It appears to be something that can be set up in stages, which would work for me. I am still checking out Fergus Research. It, too, looks like a great program. Fergus has a 30 day trial period, too.

To all of you REO Agents looking for an affordable yet easy to use online software to manage those reo properties. I found a great application with no need to download small applications. Access the info from wherever. The price of this program is $99.00 per month with unlimited assistants and unlimited amount of properties. No other charges but a one time setup fee $49.00. You can send an email to info at myrems dot com . I think they are offering a reduction in price at $74.99 per month if you sign up for a year.

I agree with original post TazaREO looks like some good software for REO Management.

http://tazademo.com/FAQ.aspx

I just spoke with Larry Duffin at TazaREO and this software looks very good. They already have some national Property Preservation companies using the software. He has offered to put on a Webinar for forum members 12-11-2008 (Thursday at 9:00 PST), to demo the online software.

There is a setup fee and monthly fee involved, but for anyone handling more then 15 REOs or plan on grow in 2009, the usage of this software could warrant the costs involved.

He is limited to 15 people on the Webinar, so the first 15 to send Larry an email message <larry.duffin@tazacorp.com> will get signed up for the Webinar.

TazaREO offers (per my understanding)...

- Easy add new property (only 4 fields required)
- Setup tasks
- Setup vendor tasks with email notices and tracking
- Share file folders (upload and local file access)
- Photo file re-sizing
- Expense tracking
- Send-receive emails
- Allow remote vendors to upload photos and files into drop folders (within each property profile) with no login required.

And, a lot more... I suggest you sign up for the Webinar, if your interested in learning more.

We are currently trying to re-structure our team and looking for new software as well as tips on team structure. Is anyone willing to share tips on team operation and workflow issues? When we implement REO management software, do we need to hire a software manager? We have a team of 10, field people and vendors. Please help!!!

I checked out virtually every system out there including:
 • Taza REO (good but too expensive)
 • REO Maestro
 • eBroker House (premature, needs work)
 • My REO Office (premature, needs work)
 • Aspen iAgent (OK w/low volume but gets costly w/volume)
 • REO HQ (OK but you pay per user which gets very costly)

I ended up going with REO Maestro because it has a ridiculous amount of capabilities and was fairly priced. they will soon be adding a module to accommodate short sales too.

The problem I am having is that their support sucks. I cannot speak to anyone via phone or live chat. I have to submit a trouble ticket and wait till who knows when to get a response. I can understand not wanting to field phone calls from idiots who barely know how to shut down their computer but at least make live chat available from 9-5.

This is totally ruining it for me.

I am using WinREO.com to manage our large REO inventory. I find WinREO to be useful for assigning tasks to myself and team members. Takes a bit of time to setup all the rules, but once this is done, the system helps me manage my REO inventory and assistants.

We have been managing anywhere from 75 to 120 HUD Homes a month since the beginning of September (we have been, in some for or another, an REO listing broker for about the last 5 to 7 years).. not as much work as say a Fannie, Freddie or some of the other banks, but still has a lot involved..

I looked at all of the ones mentioned above, including BC Connect (which was at the REOExpo in June) and they sound promising, lots of options including designing their software for iPads and Tablets. We are currently with Taza, and like it, but being new to using an actual task oriented system to manage everything, we didn't have any real knowledge of what we needed.

As a company we are still learning a lot and trying to manage everything, but so far Taza has been pretty good to work with. Very eager to add new functions and tweak the system. I think reasonably priced, $99 a month right now.

We are still tweaking the system for our uses but it is going well.

I would say try Taza, or BC Conncet, both seem to work well and have nice options. Also, both have connections to actual asset managers that use their system for tracking. You might end up with extra business out of it..

How about Broker Brain and EBroker House? Is anyone using these systems? Both have 30 day free trial offers and are supposed to be very simple to setup and operate. I've downloaded the Ebroker and have started to import my database, however I'm hearing that Broker Brain is the way to go. Any thoughts and/or opinions on these 2?
