Do you have outlook 2003 or later with Business Contact Manager? It works well for me! http://www.patzaby.com/ Pat Zaby has one, I have heard good things about it but never used it. There is always Top Producer, I hate it but other people like it.

NoVa Gal - I work with Agents who use a variety of contact management software - anywhere from Excel to Top Producer. If you are looking for something more advanced than Outlook, what exactly are your needs? Outlook can do an awful lot! As for Top Producer, it does have a lot of bells and whistles---if you won't use them, might not be worth it. Have you investigated ACT!? They have a special version for Real Estate Agents. I haven't used that version, but I have used their regular version. It does have a lot of options, but not quite as much as Top Producer does. They also have a web version too. I actually just wrote an article for my ezine about which database to choose for contact managament. I'm doing a series on contact management and that was part 2. Send me a note if you are interested in the article or go to www.rjprofessionalservices.com to sign up for the free ezine. Hope this helps! Rebekah

I second Basecamp, I use it for project management of my transactions. I will also be giving Highrise a try. Good call there Corey.

NovaGal -
I have spent a ridiculous amount of time pondering this same issue. There are agents in the office that have ACT, but they say it is not user friendly, there is a pretty sharp learning curve, but once you "get it" this works well. I have heard good things about Top Producer, except, it slows your computer down, which would drive me nuts. I read some customer reviews about Goldmine, it got trashed pretty hard, and I don't know anyone that has it. I have spent some time on the Lead Commander website, but I can find nothing about this program anywhere else on the web except their website. This makes me hesitant to buy it.
A couple people in the office are using Outlook, but my version of Outlook is older, I would need to update it, then purchase the RE upgrades.
If you have purchased something and have feedback to share, I'd appreciate it if you'd drop me a line.

I believe that there is not any software which fullfils your all complete needs, then you can go for customize software if its suits to your budget.
also before buying any web based management software, ask then whether the application is encrypted or can be coded easily.
hope this will helps. -------------- http://www.ad-my-ad.com

Here is a free CRM application that has been gaining use lately, I have used it only in a testing mode and it is quite powerful: http://zoho.com/
It even has a mobile component so you don;t actually have to be at a computer (cool for agents) and works with any windows mobile or iPhone.
Hope this is helpful.

I found some very good REO management software....
http://tazademo.com/FAQ.aspx
I just spoke with Larry Duffin at TazaREO and this software looks very good. They already have some national Property Preservation companies using the software. He has offered to put on a Webinar for forum members 12-11-2008 (Thursday at 9:00 PST), to demo the online software.
There is a setup fee and monthly fee involved, but for anyone handling more then 15 REOs or plan on grow in 2009, the usage of this software could warrant the costs involved.
He is limited to 15 people on the Webinar, so the first 15 to send Larry an email message <larry.duffin@tazacorp.com> will get signed up for the Webinar.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
